FARGO, N.D. — North Dakota State has added a third commit to its ’25 recruiting class, and once again they reside in the trenches.
Offensive lineman and Grafton, Wis. native James Nellis (6-4, 290) announced his commitment to the Bison on Wednesday morning. The 3-star prospect chose NDSU over offers from FBS programs such as Wyoming, Washington State, Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois, and Miami (Ohio).
Per 247sports, Nellis ranks as the 19th best class of 2025 prospect in the state of Wisconsin. He joins 3-star offensive lineman Gavin Wang and 3-star defensive lineman Brody Clubb as the first three members of NDSU’s first recruiting class under head coach Tim Polasek.
