FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men’s basketball program and head coach David Richman announced its non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2022-23 season on Tuesday.
The Bison will open the season with an attention-grabbing first week, playing at Arkansas on Nov. 7 and at Kansas on Nov. 10. The Jayhawks are the defending national champions, and the Razorbacks have advanced to the Elite Eight in the past two NCAA Tournaments.
The Bison return home to host the Pacific Tigers of the West Coast Conference on Sunday, Nov. 13, for the home opener. NDSU will close out its three-game series agreement with Indiana State, making the trip to Terre Haute, Ind., on Nov. 17.
As previously announced, the Bison will play three games at the Lobo Classic in Albuquerque, N.M., on Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 25-27. NDSU will take on host New Mexico, Northern Colorado, and Jacksonville State, with the order of those games still to be determined.
A road trip to the Pacific Northwest will feature games at Eastern Washington on Dec. 3 and Portland on Dec. 5. The non-conference portion of the schedule wraps with home games against Montana and Waldorf back-to-back on Dec. 10-11.
The Summit League will release this year’s full 18-game league schedules on Aug. 3. Summit League play is expected to begin on Dec. 19.
