NORTH DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITY ATHLETICS ANNOUNCES RADIO FM MEDIA AND BISON 1660 WILL EXTEND ITS RADIO BROADCAST RELATIONSHIP
Fargo, ND – May 7, 2021 – North Dakota State University Athletics Department and its exclusive multimedia rightsholder, Bison Sports Properties, announced today that the radio relationship between the Bison and Bison 1660 / Radio FM Media has been extended for a three-year term.
Fans will continue to find game action and Bison programming on Bison 1660 and its radio station group throughout the Fargo-Moorhead area. The new three-year broadcast agreement with Radio FM Media is concurrent with the upcoming 2021-22 collegiate athletics season.
In the new term, Bison 1660 / 92.7 FM will continue to bring fans Bison programming including football, men’s and women’s basketball game broadcasts and coaches’ shows. Full promotional support also will be provided on Bison 1660’s sister stations including 107.9 FM The Fox, Big 98.7 FM, Q105.1 FM, 94.5 FM The City, 96.9 Hits FM, and Bob 95.1 FM / 94.5 FM Detroit Lakes and 106.9 The Eagle, Radio Wahpeton Breckenridge.
Specific station coverage is as follows: Bison football and men’s basketball broadcasts will continue to be heard on Bison 1660 / 92.7 FM, 107.9 (HD-1 and HD-3) The Fox and KDLB FM 94.5 FM (HD-3). Bison women’s basketball play-by-play will continue to be heard on Bison 1660 / 92.7 FM. Seasonal weekly coaches’ shows will be carried on Bison 1660 / 92.7 FM, featuring Football Head Coach Matt Entz; Men’s Basketball Head Coach David Richman; and Women’s Basketball Head Coach Jory Collins.
Additionally, Jeff Culhane will return this fall as the “Voice of the Bison,” for his sixth season of calling play-by-play for Bison football and men’s basketball. Fans can also access exclusive content on-demand on the “NDSU Behind the Mic” program, which can be found on the North Dakota State Bison Facebook page.

Bison Sports Properties is the locally based Learfield IMG College team which manages all broadcast operations and corporate partnerships for NDSU Athletics as part of the overall multimedia rights relationship.
