Summit League Schedules Released For NDSU Men’s and Women’s Basketball

FARGO, N.D. – The Summit League announced Wednesday the adjusted conference schedules for the 2020-21 basketball season.

For both men’s and women’s basketball, Summit League schools will play a 16-game conference schedule between Saturday, Jan. 2, and Sunday, Feb. 28. Teams will play the same opponent twice at one site to reduce travel, with each school hosting four weekends and playing on the road four weekends.

The men’s basketball and women’s basketball league schedules are identical, with doubleheaders scheduled for all 16 games.

The Bison open the league slate at Western Illinois on Jan. 2-3. NDSU hosts Omaha on Jan. 8-9, Denver on Jan. 22-23, Oral Roberts on Feb. 5-6, and South Dakota State on Feb. 19-20.

NDSU will announce complete non-conference schedules for both basketball teams in the near future.

Due to the uncertainty regarding spectator attendance at the Scheels Center for the 2020-21 basketball season, tickets will only be available on a single-game basis. There will not be season ticket options for 2020-21. Existing season ticket holders will have priority in purchasing tickets on a game-by-game basis if attendance is permitted.

All single-game tickets are contingent on spectators being permitted in-person at the SHAC.

Please note that 2019-20 season ticket holders will maintain their consecutive years of season tickets and will have the first opportunity to purchase season tickets for the 2021-22 season.

Details regarding the single-game ticket process will be announced at a later date, once building capacity has been established.

NDSU Athletics will continue to monitor university, city, and state guidelines and recommendations.
